MABC Bulletin

Marina Alta Business Club Members' Site

Meeting May 6th

Our next meeting is on May 6th – so not for another 2 weeks.

Advantage one is that it will give a few of our members a chance to send family/guests home in a safe and post volcanic atmosphere and equally it will give a few memebers stuck abroad a chance to get back here… without missing a meeting

Advantage two – it is UK Election night – so the meeting WILL finish around 9:30pm…. Promise :-)

Gaile

New Website

I have managed to acquire  http://www.lifestylespain.com and intend to turn it into a public information portal – I am NOT intendng to re-invent the wheel – or duplicate any of the other quite excellent websites that are established about Spain – I would much prefer to simply link to them and allow visitors to Lifestyle Spain to access the full wealth of information that is online about living in Spain. So if you know of good quality websites we can link to, please let me know.

The Lifestyle Spain website also offers an opportunity to put deals, for sale items, properties etc rather like a full colour illustrated classified – with plenty of opportunity for logos and photos. It will be free, for the time being – and any body who joins now will not be charged for at least a year after we start charging for entry onto the site – so if you have a property for sale or want to take part in Lifestyle Spain – now is your chance to join. We are not suggesting you bypass Estate Agents (we welcome contributions from them) but we do think it gives an opportunity to flesh out agent ads with the photos of your property that you like and they have not had the space to use!

I still have a lot of work to do on the site  -  but I have already put a property online… so it will give you an idea of what can be done

On Linked IN? Join Marina Alta Business Group!

Marina Alta Business Group is now on Linked in – open to any business with interests in the Marina Alta Region – we hope that it will help to highlight issues within our business community and will enhance all our businesses as a result – like Marina Alta Business Community, it is free to anyone to join – whilst we cannot guarantee business club members discounts from doing business with other group members, we hope it will encourage more networking links for all of us – so should be well worth joining. http://www.linkedin.com

Whilst you are on Linked in there is also a fast growing and now very active group for businesses across Spain – 2,420 members from across the whole of Spain and beyond – Spain Business and Professional Network - I would recommend that ouor Linked In members join it – it is full of useful links (and people)

Changing Faces!

Because the Bulletin is new, you will probably find that its appearance alters between your visits – apologies if it means that your favourite posts appear to have been moved = please be assured – as we tweak and improve the site, the articles may move about a little – or change colour – but all the core info and the posts and ypur comments are all still here and hopefully are still easy to find, using the Search box, if you can’t see them straight away – if you have any problems or preferences – please email manager@mabc.biz
